From the very first night I had Kahlua when she slept stretched out across my pillow all I wanted was for her to be MY DOG for all her life. she gave me so much more than I could have asked for. Firstly and foremost she was my special pet the one dog who really did like me more than anyone else in the world. I was the person she would listen to above anyone else and she would get so jealous when I gave other dogs attention. When Mike can along she quickly learnt to listen to him and she really became our dog rather than just mine.

She would come with me when I went Horse ridding although there were quite a few occasions when she got side tracked and went chasing after a kangaroo that crossed our path. Kahlua loved water and loved to swim, we use to say she could find water in the desert. One of her favourite things to do was go swimming in the dam then when we came back up to the house she would wash off by jumping in the horses water trough, which always made me laugh. When it rained not only did she like to be out in the rain she liked to sit in the biggest puddle she could find.

No matter what happened in my life Kahlua always loved me and was always happy just to see me. I sat with her  when she had her babies and I am so glad that she got to meet mine. Like most Samoyeds she really loved children. For someone who grew up with dogs Kahlua was the first dog that was really mine. Kahlua was such a truly special dog in so many ways not only for what she gave me but also for everything she gave to others. I will never forget the day I had a visitor who had owned one of Kahlua's children and tragically lost him very suddenly. He knelt down to Kahlua gave her a big cuddle and thanked her for giving him such a special dog that gave him so much happiness.

I will always miss you Kahlua, You will live on in our hearts and through all your beautiful progeny throughout Australia and the world.      

Kahlua is the Dam of Americus, Ice Man & Charlie (at Mezen). Obi (at Alaskamal) and Mishka (at Icemist) and has offspring at many kennels throughout Aust and the world including: Icemist, Snowispa, Icemagik, Santaviga(UK), Arttulan(Fnl), Funny Fabric(Fnl) Ajana, Kimark, Snerzok, Airebis, Kietra.
